About Me
Katherine is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Board Certified Counselor, and one of the first clinicians in Pennsylvania to earn the designation of Certified Perinatal Mental Health provider. She received her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Arizona State University. As a native of Pittsburgh, she has spent her career working in the education, private, and non-profit sectors.
Katherine practices and resides in the North Hills with her husband and two young children. She specializes in maternal mental health including infertility, perinatal mood & anxiety disorders, as well as miscarriage and loss. Additionally, Katherine focuses on adult clients with mood and anxiety disorders, specifically Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
Holding advanced training certificates in Maternal Mental Health, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Katherine provides organizational consultation and psychoeducation in a variety of settings, in addition to her work with private clients. She is available for group training sessions, staff support and development, as well as social-emotional programming.
Katherine is the Western Pennsylvania Coordinator for Postpartum Support International, as well as a member of the American Psychological Association, American Counseling Association, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Greater Pittsburgh Psychological Association, Pennsylvania Psychological Association, Pennsylvania Association for Infant Mental Health, Postpartum Pittsburgh, and is verified by Psychology Today.
