I have “front line” experience with direct support as a community support specialist in outpatient and residential settings, individual and group substance abuse counseling in Missouri Department of Corrections; hospital psychiatric counseling, and individual and group counseling services for trauma, substance abuse, parenting education, and family therapy.
As the spouse of a combat vet, I also understand the special challenges that Military Families experience and how the dynamics of separation impacts everyone in the family unit. My goal is to help others find workable, realistic solutions to whatever is going on in their life.
