About Me
If you are searching for meaning and purpose, feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what’s next, or struggling with identity, relationships, or making meaningful connections in life, Kylie may be a good fit for you!
As a holistic clinician, Kylie cares deeply about helping people heal from the inside out on emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual levels. She works from an existential theoretical approach, emphasizing freedom, your ability to make a rational choice, your meaning and purpose in life, and your own unique identity. She integrates other approaches such as DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), and Mindfulness practices to help bring awareness to distorted thoughts and body sensations.
Kylie earned her Master’s of Science of Clinical Counseling at Central Methodist University. Prior to her Master’s degree, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling at Central Christian College of the Bible. She has experience helping people with substance use disorders at residential treatment/outpatient settings, and she has very much enjoyed working with a DBT consultation team helping individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder and Substance Use Disorder. Kylie is the founder of Safe Place Home , a 501C3 Nonprofit dedicated to serving women coming out of addiction by providing safe housing and programs.
Kylie cares deeply about your healing journey, and she is grateful to walk alongside you!
