I am a solution focused therapist with 35 years of experience. My therapy style is cognitive, interactive, compassionate, and, if need be, challenging. I believe effective therapy should produce change, not just insight. I will listen to you deeply, help conceptualize the problems, patterns, and dynamics which are causing you trouble, and give you feedback. I've completed a 9 month post graduate practicum in Experiential and Client Centered Psychotherapy and it informs my practice, though I'm eclectic in my approach. If you live outside the Chicago area or have issues with travel, I offer video sessions through a HPPAA compliant website.
