About Me

I’m Shayna Finn, a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s transitions with clarity, confidence, and resilience. I specialize in working with college students, young adults, and individuals facing major life changes, such as starting a new career, managing stress and anxiety, or adapting to new roles and environments.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you and I work together to uncover your strengths, explore your challenges, and create a personalized path forward. My approach is rooted in compassion and respect, blending evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies to help you achieve meaningful progress.

Life’s transitions—whether they involve academics, careers, or relationships—can feel overwhelming. You may be juggling expectations, facing uncertainty about the future, or struggling to find balance. My role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel supported and empowered to address these challenges.

In therapy, I help clients develop tools to manage stress, reduce anxiety, and gain confidence in their decision-making. I also work closely with clients to identify their values and passions, aligning their goals with what truly matters to them. Whether you’re seeking to find direction, overcome self-doubt, or build practical skills to manage life’s demands, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

When I’m not in the therapy room, I enjoy hiking with my dog, reading, and exploring new music. My favorite artists include Noah Kahan, The Lumineers, and Rainbow Kitten Surprise—alternative and indie are my go-to genres! I wind down at the end of the day with my aroma diffuser, a good book, or even some lighthearted TikToks.

I’m passionate about helping my clients not only overcome their challenges but also discover the confidence and clarity they need to thrive. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to grow, therapy can be a transformative step toward the life you envision. Let’s take that step together.
