Derrick Miller

DERRICK MILLER, LMSW, received his master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Interpersonal Practice in Mental Health from the University of Michigan. He completed his clinical training through Henry Ford Behavioral Health and has professional experience working with clients in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. Derrick has assisted many clients through their depression, anxiety, PTSD, sexual or developmental trauma and substance abuse. He has studied the following therapeutic modalities: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment-based theory, internal family systems (IFS), polyvagal theory, somatic psychotherapy and emotionally-focused therapy (EFT). Derrick also specializes in working with members of the LGBTQ community.
