About Me
It is normative to experience stress and conflict within your relationships and you may feel that you are unsure how to resolve it. I work with individuals and couples who are experiencing these difficult and challenging situations. You can expect a warm and supportive conversation with challenging questions intended to push your boundaries and increase your insight.
My goal is to help you identify and create the changes you desire through increasing your insight into your concerns and identify concrete actions to take. My approach to therapy would be considered eclectic, meaning that I combine interventions from various therapy models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and system theory.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Virginia and I have 10 years of experience in the field providing therapy in tele-health, private practice, and hospital settings. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech and my Master's degree from the University of Connecticut in Marriage and Family Studies.
