About Me
I provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families. I see clients from ages twelve to adult. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults in particular. I have a passion for helping couples navigate through relational issues. I have previous experience working in community mental health as well as in the child welfare system. I have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I am trained as a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator.
I specializes in depression, anxiety, grief, Post traumatic Stress Disorder, crisis management, stress management, trauma, and marital issues. I utilize Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment work, Strength Based Therapy and Play therapy techniques. I enjoy utilizing mindfulness and art techniques as well.
I received my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2014 from Friends University. I received my Bachelor's degree in Family Studies and Human Services with a secondary degree in Gerontology in 2011 from Kansas State University.
