About Me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with adolescents and adults struggling with a wide array of difficulties from anxiety, depression and addictions including substance use disorders and eating disorders. In our work together I will collaborate with you to develop individualized goals involving decreased self-destructive behavior patterns and increased conflict resolution and coping skills. I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies to help you achieve your most optimal state of physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. Through working together to build this solid foundation, you will experience an increased sense of resiliency and self-esteem when faced with the inevitable stressors of life. This process will also help to strengthen your relationships and deepen your most important connections with others.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Fordham University and my Masters of Arts Degree In Mental Health Counseling at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I am currently affiliated with the American Counseling Association and I am also listed on Psychology Today.
My work experience includes individual and family therapy at the NY Foundling as well as substance use group therapy and teletherapy with couples.
