Alexandra Armas

Alexandra Armas, MA, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #117071. Alexandra earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Dance (Cum Laude) from Santa Clara University.

She has worked with individuals on a broad range of issues and is most passionate about treating eating disorders. She has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with challenges including personality disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma. Other areas of expertise include borderline personality disorder, self-injury, women’s issues and emerging adulthood issues.

Alexandra is certified in both Gottman and Prepare/Enrich approaches to couples counseling. Alexandra has training and experience in a wide variety of treatment modalities, and works to tailor her therapeutic approach to the unique needs of each client.
