Alexandra Lynch

Alexandra graduated with her Bachelors degree at University of Scranton and went on to successfully complete her masters in clinical mental health counseling. Alexandra is a licensed associate counselor (LAC) and is currently completing supervision to become a licensed professional counselor (LPC). She is also a nationally certified counselor (NCC).

Alexandra has experience with co-occurring disorders and has worked as a substance abuse counselor in a residential setting. She has worked with children and adolescents with behavioral issues or dealing with trauma. Alexandra also has significant experience with crisis counseling and has worked in an emergency room for several years as a crisis counselor. Alexandra has specific training with cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis counseling, and psychotherapy. Alexandra’s passion is to help others learn to adapt to life’s stressors and to learn how to be the best version of themselves.

In her free time, Alexandra enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an avid animal lover and enjoys spending time with her canine friend, Dakota.

When people ask what drew Alexandra to this field, she always replies “Someone had helped better my life in very difficult and trying times through therapy so I’d like to do the same for someone else.”

Her holistic approach is to embrace the big picture and encourage her clients to do the same. Alexandra strives to be a breath of fresh air for her clients through an interactive, warm, and accepting approach.
