About Me
*I have immediate openings for telehealth sessions due to provide you with support in navigating the COVID-19 pandemic.
Connection, understanding, growth, empowerment and fulfillment are basic human needs. We are naturally hardwired to relate. When we have these the possibilities are vast and we thrive! But when we feel disconnected, misunderstood, stuck, and empty, it feels painful and isolating. We are left yearning for relief, resources and restoration. In the end we want a sense of balance and sustainability.
I want that for you too and I'd be honored to help you. I tailor therapy to you and your strengths so you can have the support, tools and change you want. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I specialize in working with men, children and highly sensitive people.
I earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in History from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. During my graduate program, I participated in a yearlong internship with Providence Network working with individuals and families coming out of homelessness, and provided counseling services to children and moms rebuilding from domestic violence, as well as group therapy for men recovering from addictions.
For two years post-graduation, I provided in-home therapy services and led behavioral coaches as we worked extensively with a variety of families, adolescents, and children in the foster system with histories of trauma, abuse, dependency and neglect. I have been in private practice since 2015. I have experience working with the family as a whole, as well as with each individual family member to meet their needs in seeking healing. In addition, I am a full time Youth Pastor where I continue to work with kids and make a difference in the community.
