About Me
Are you experiencing difficulties and feel STUCK? Do you feel like you need someone to help you figure out how to move forward? I have been a therapist for over 10+ years and have focused on helping clients' develop personal goals and accountability methods to staying on track. Through therapy sessions, clients are able to focus on a strengths-based approach to skill development.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults that may be dealing with school/work issues, grief issues, depression, unhealthy relationships, or learning to cope with life's stressors.
ABOUT ANGELA C. FLOWERS
Angela C. Flowers is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) in the state of Ohio, community activist, life coach, motivational speaker, grant writer, and program developer. She speaks and facilitates conversations with children and teens on topics that include self-esteem, bullying, suicide, depression, sexual abuse, and witnessing violence. Ms. Flowers has created D.I.V.A.S. (Demonstrating Inner Value, Acceptance, and Self-Worth) and Boys II Men support groups for youth to help them identify their inner strengths, talents, and worth. Ms. Flowers was selected by Cleveland Magazine as one of Cleveland’s Most Interesting People of 2019 and Crain’s Cleveland Magazine as a Notable Woman in Entrepreneurship in 2019. Ms. Flowers is a co-founder of Making A Difference Consulting and in private practice in Children & Family Therapeutic Solutions. Ms. Flowers recently released her first children’s book, “Footprints in the Sky,” in 2016 which focuses on grief. Ms. Flowers has been featured by business incubator Jumpstart as a premier entrepreneur and was a finalist in the 2019 Cleveland Chain Reaction Pitch Competition. Ms. Flowers received her M.S. in Social Administration from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University and B.S. in psychology from John Carroll University.
