About Me
The healing process is a journey that begins with a safe and trusting relationship with your therapist. I provide a non-judgmental therapeutic environment to facilitate your self-exploration. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults, with a focus on emotional distress, anxiety, depression, adjusting to life transitions (i.e. divorce, new baby), trauma (child sexual assault, domestic violence, and war). I utilize a pragmatic eclectic yet holistic approach which integrates empathy, mindfulness as well cognitive CBT, DBT, play therapy, Narrative, art therapy, sand tray, and EMDR to promote change.
For more than 20 years, I have assisted children and adolescents through their challenges that might include depression, anxiety, bullying, anger, abuse, and grief and loss. I work with families to cope, while the individual heals. I work with adults on depression, anxiety, family counseling, domestic violence, anger management, and skills to help parents.
I have been in the helping field for 30+ years and have assisted many clients in reaching their goals while allowing them to heal through their own individual journey. Every person has their own path to heal and I feel privileged to walk beside an individual and share their exploration while reaching their goals.
