About Me
My therapeutic stance is nonjudgmental and collaborative. In therapy, I focus on helping families and individuals identify and obtain achievable goals.”
During my more than 10 years as a licensed marriage and family therapist, I have learned many strategies that assist in helping individuals and families learn to live their best lives. Using a non-judgmental and collaborative stance to find and achieve goals within the clients I serve. Being a therapist that values respect of others including their cultures and values allows for a much more productive session that can further the ultimate goal of healing and advancing the individuals and families on a daily basis. These values coupled with experience, therapeutic techniques, and therapeutic strategies have been proven over the years to add value and help in the healing process. Techniques such as solution focus therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and system theory allow clients to find the right strategies to help them in their everyday lives. My experience in the field has allowed me to gain a better understanding of individuals and their family structure with a firm belief you must work with the individual person's family to really help you improve. The most important thing for me as a therapist is to help our community find healthy solutions in their lives and assure that I do everything my training and experience has shown me to ethically and diligently help you.
Whether you’ve had some experience with counseling or none, I ask that you give me a chance to meet you and your family and help you achieve your goals. It is my goal to help you find what works for you and apply to everyday life solutions that work.
