Chani Gerstel

I earned my undergraduate degree from Excelsior College, and then went on to get a Master’s in Counseling from Nova South Eastern University where I interned in a partial care program for adolescents. I founded and directed an alternative HS for girls within the Lakewood Community, and then went on to work with adolescents and families in crisis. I currently work at Preferred Behavioral Health of NJ's Outpatient program seeing Adolescents and adults, as well as running groups. In addition I work at Integrated Care Concepts and Consultation. In addition to taking Somatic Intervention training's I am an IFS level 1 therapist, and incorporate them together into my work. I believe therapy is a partnership between the therapist and client, and working together will get you to where you want!
