About Me
Christopher Hill is the founder and head therapist of Washington Psychotherapy Institute. He has worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Washington area since 2011 and in mental health since 2003.
Chris provides support for adults, children, adolescents and couples working through challenges, setting objectives, and meeting goals to heal and thrive.
His Capitol Hill practice equips patients with tools to manage their symptoms and empower them to lead more fulfilling lives.
Chris focuses on integrative cognitive-behavioral therapy to address the underlying causes of a patient’s concerns within a modern societal context.
Chris obtained a Masters of Psychology from The Catholic University of America while working as a clinical supervisor at Community Connections Mental Health Association.
He has further therapeutic experience working at Counseling and Psychological Services at James Madison University, Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center, Re-New Psychological Services, and the Psychiatric Institute of Washington.
