About Me
Are you experiencing feelings of anxiety or depression? Do you struggle to find balance due to substance use or disordered eating habits? Maybe you need some guidance on self-esteem or relationship issues? It’s okay to not be okay, and I’m here to help you through whatever life situations are causing you pain. I believe in treating each these issues from a whole person perspective and will work with you to not only break free from the difficulties in your life, but to enrich all areas of your health and well-being.
Through openhearted and compassionate communication, we will create a safe space for you to mindfully explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and identify which among them no longer serve you. By recognizing the unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that bring stress into your life, working to reframe them in a way that embraces your current reality, and acting in alignment with your values, you can start to increase your quality of life and overall happiness.
I believe that as human beings our full happiness is dependent on both our physical and emotional health. Fueling your body with nutritious foods and maintaining a healthy amount of physical activity can improve the way your body feels and functions on the inside, and can even help elevate your mental and emotional states in the process. Emotions can also be felt physically within the body, as with the quickening of your heartbeat in times of great anxiety, or the heaviness in your stomach during a breakup. My goal is to support you in learning to listen to these internal signals and begin using them to better understand your thoughts and feelings.
Learning to accept and understand your emotions can assist you in handling all life situations from a place of inner peace. It is through this sense of peaceful awareness that I will help you reframe your mindset to reduce negative emotions, increase the joy in your life, and remove any obstacles that are preventing you from reaching your highest potential.
