About Me
Are you struggling with fear, lack of confidence, self doubt, anger, and hurt? Do you feel overwhelmed trying to juggle the demands of family, work or school, and relationships? Is there a sense that something needs to change but you can’t figure out what? Are you interested in learning more?
I am a lifelong learner seeking personal, spiritual, and professional growth. This allows me to bring the most current knowledge and treatment strategies to my clients. I use modalities such as Internal Family Systems therapy, mindfulness-based psychotherapy, somatic psychotherapy, applied neuroscience, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I have also studied nutritional approaches to mental health. I believe that mental and physical health are interrelated.
Research has demonstrated, however, that regardless of the mode of therapy, effective therapy depends on therapeutic presence. Health, growth, and restoration occur in the context of a safe supportive relationship. Therefore, I remain committed to developing my own self-awareness in order to be fully present to my clients and provide a platform for healing. During our time together, you will learn how to be fully present to your own experience, explore those persistent questions, and develop practical skills that you can apply now.
