About Me
Holly is a versatile, flexible, and forward-thinking psychotherapist who has worked with a wide variety of people. Her optimism and curiosity attracts many clients to her private practice in Pasadena, California. Holly believes that part of the gift of therapy is to work with someone who accepts you just the way you are, while at the same time helping you to become the person you want to be. She is a licensed, board certified, Marriage and Family Therapist and also a certified Registered Clinical Art Therapist.
Holly has taken the opportunity to learn from the worlds' masters in relationships, health, and psychology by being the guest host of a radio show whose purpose is to present the latest research findings by the preeminent experts in these fields. By interviewing the best and brightest, Holly is able to bring that innovation to you.
Holly's own expertise on a variety of issues has been featured on National Public Radio (NPR) in the United States and Sweden, as well as on KPFK, 90.7 FM, Los Angeles.
Holly is an out-of-the-box thinker and has a passion for synthesizing current research, which she uses as a springboard for creating innovative interventions. She takes an energetic, action-oriented approach. In other words, Holly is a creative intellectual who is skilled at very logical and strategic "Left-Brained" methods, as well as creative "Right-Brained" methods. Because she is skilled in many treatment modalities, therapy will be specifically designed for you and your needs. Holly believes that therapy is both an art and a science, and strives to bring more science into the field. She helps clients learn new skills and gives them hands-on tools to use between sessions to accelerate their progress.
