Jeffrey Gowing

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan and Board Certified with the National Board of Certified Counselors. My counseling focus is on child/adolescent, individual adult, elder adult and LGBTQ+ clients. Areas of concentration include anger management, time management, LGBTQ+ issues, challenges in aging, and adjustment problems.

I am fully licensed by the State of Michigan's Bureau of Professional Licensing. I earned my Baccalaureate degree in Criminal Justice with an additional major in Psychology at Michigan State University, a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University, and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, the Michigan Counseling Association, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness. I have served on the board of the Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues in Counseling (ALGBTIC; a division of the American Counseling Association).
