Katie Yavuz

Rev. Katie is an Interfaith Minister beginning in 2014; she holds a BA in Religious Studies, has completed ¼ units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). She's ministered large and small events from wedding to memorials of 300+ down to two (just a couple). Paganism, Shaman, Christianity, and Islam are her specialties and is a Registered Psychotherapist.

In 2017 Katie moved forward-moving past pain (#CRPS) and trauma and began her career as an Addiction Counselor (CAC level I). She is currently studying for the NADAC State exam for CAC level II. She has completed all certificate courses through CAC level III to supervisory levels and is working on an additional 2K hours towards CAC III licensure. She has enrolled in a Master's program in Somatics Dance Movement Therapy.

Katie has 21 years' worth of experience in Criminal Justice background, Mental Health and Spiritual Counseling. She facilitates court-mandated classes.

When Katie isn't working she enjoys the therapeutic effects of gardening, nature walks and considers every day is a rehab day, so you might as well get moving and work through your pain.
