About Me
Kelly received a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has worked with diverse populations throughout the bay area including children, adolescents, parent/families, adults and groups in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Kelly specializes in working with youth, individuals and families to help empower and bring healthy balance and harmony into daily living.
With a deep understanding and appreciation for the complexities of human nature and relationships, Kelly utilizes a collaborative, culturally sensitive and strengths-based approach to the therapeutic process to meet each person where they are at and help identify strengths in moving towards personal wellness and self-growth. She integrates techniques from many clinical strategies including Play Therapy, Family Systems, Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness all tailored to suit the needs a diverse range of client(s).
Kelly’s background includes working with teens in an inpatient level of eating disorder care and providing trauma-informed community-based services to youth, individuals and families in the bay area. Her style is compassionate, creative, and interactive.
