About Me
Konstantina Rose, FNP-BC, APRN-Rx is a practitioner dedicated to the clients that she services. She believes establishing a strong supportive relationship with clients and their families is essential for treatment and approaches care utilizing a provider-client holistic approach. She establishes client care using consultations and coordination of care between varying medical and psychiatric providers, allowing for comprehensive care management. She is currently obtaining competency in natural and nutritional remedies that incorporate the island of Maui’s culture and traditional remedies. Konstantina Rose believes that nature is a great healer and practices mindful practices, such as hiking on trails and adventuring Maui with her dog.
Konstantina Rose was educated at NYU, Drew University, and USF. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychological Biology and completed her degree with a Bachelor and Master of Nursing. She also attended John Hopkins University for her certification as a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner and is now obtaining a candidacy for her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and certification as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE). She is a representative of the University Hawaii’s Professional Assembly, a Board Member of Maui Nurses Scholarship Foundation, and is the coordinator and sole instructor for the psychiatric nursing curriculum in UHMC’s Allied Health Nursing.
Caring for patients since 2010, Konstantina Rose has extensive experience as a nurse, with in-patient psychiatric and medical patient care. She works at the University of Hawaii Health Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner, providing medical and mental health care. Konstantina Rose enjoys staying actively involved in her community by being a member of the Medical Reserve Corps, volunteering as part of a medical team that monitors COVID-19 patients via tele-health, and services the homeless population.
