About Me
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in Montana. I have a wide range of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked with a diverse clientele from a variety of cultural backgrounds. My educational background consists of a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Providence (formerly the University of Great Falls). My prior experience is three years and expertise includes adults experiencing addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, and personality disorders. I feel therapy should be tailored to the client and their needs using an integrated approach.
I use uses a variety of theoretical perspectives and integrated approaches to tailor individual, family, and group therapy sessions. I have extensive experience with autism, PTSD, and trauma in conjunction with addictions and concurring mental disorders. My therapeutic approach is evidence-based and integrated while tailored for the best needs of my client. My counseling style encompasses a warm, caring, and interactive environment. I ensure a non-judgmental and respectful atmosphere. My therapeutic approach consists of cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, person-centered, solution-focused, healthy lifestyle, and psychoeducation.
