Maren McDonnell

Maren absolutely loves that moment when a couple or family looks at each other like they are actually seeing and understanding the other for the first time. The vulnerability and love that can be expressed towards a partner, family member, or oneself is unbelievably precious and it makes Maren love her job to help clients get to that place.

Maren helps individuals, couples, and families reach that moment by pulling from many different therapeutic modalities and has been known to try some creative approaches to treatment. Maren is also committed to forward momentum as she recognizes your time is precious and therapy can be a consuming process. She wants to work with you to make the progress you want in a way that honors the resources you are putting in.

Maren is a bilingual Spanish/English Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate and has completed Level II of the Gottman Training. Maren is also a Certified Lactation Consultant and loves working with breastfeeding mothers and their infants. She has worked with diverse families through many challenges for more than five years providing her with experience in a range of situations from crises to family enrichment.
