About Me
Dr. Martin Wesley is a professor of the Florida School of Counseling with National Louis University. He has served as a licensed professional counselor for almost 25 years in Arizona, Kentucky, and Florida. Clinically, he specializes in marriage and family issues and the treatment of addiction. Dr. Wesley has been teaching for over 20 years and is a leader in Counselor Education and Supervision where he has shaped the profession through online and hybrid/blended education. He has also been honored with various awards and recognitions including the Kearney Campbell Memorial Award and the Counselor Educator of the Year from the Kentucky Counseling Association.
Dr. Wesley is an experienced leader in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Higher Education. He is a regular speaker on various topics including Tele-Mental Health Counseling, Synchronous Online Education, Animal-Assisted Therapy, Addiction Treatment, Starting a Private Practice, Spirituality in Counseling, Counseling the Elderly and many more.
I have been around for many years and have helped thousands of individuals. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Nationally Certifed Counselor, and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor. Additionally, I am a Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, and Board Certified Tele-Mental Health Provider.
I am a life traveler on life's journey. I have been walking life's journey for many years and have gained a great deal of knowledge and experience to help others on their journey. I am a father and grandpa and have helped hundreds with their marriage and family relationships. I have been active in helping many with addiction issues. I look forward to helping you.
