About Me
From a young age, I found myself engaged in conversations with adults and finding those much more interesting than the ones my peers were having. I began to notice that I was a person people came to- for advice, for comfort, and for simple presence.
And I loved it.
As I grew, I became slightly consumed with the mystery of the human condition. I wanted to know why people are the way they are. I wanted to understand the roles of history, family, attachments, experience, spirituality, culture, and more in a person's life. I wanted to create space for the many pains I witnessed. I wanted to empower, encourage, and stand alongside.
As I engaged my own (sometimes invigorating and other times excruciating) therapy process, this desire to be a witness to the human condition grew.
Hence, I became a therapist.
I am a graduate of Mercer University School of Counseling & McAfee School of Theology and a Licensed Professional Counselor (License #LPC008487) in the state of Georgia.
I am also the founder and director of The Brookhaven Center for Counseling & Wellness and Engage Premarital Counseling.
It is my great joy to join my clients in their journey with compassion, curiosity, and love. In our work together, you can expect that I will bring my whole self to this process, as we co-create something new together.
