About Me
Are you looking to be restored from trauma or difficult life experiences? Are you looking for more whole or meaningful relationship with self, God/Higher Power, or others?
Have you been hurt, broken, or feel weary from emotional pain and you long for someone to come alongside you to be present and guide you through the process of discovering, restoring, or redeeming your true self?
I am passionate about joining others in their struggles and guiding them to live with greater freedom from that which may hinder them from meaningful life.
I offer care for individuals, couples, groups, and workshops in the redemptive process of restoring hope and guiding the journey toward greater wholeness of body, mind, and spirit.
Anxiety, depression, couple relationships and conflict, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, partners of sexually addicted persons, spiritual/emotional/relational harm, and life transitions are struggles for which I provide care. I will help you process these struggles as they affect your body, your mind, and your spirit (relational, emotional).
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina, with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy. I have specialized training in emotion-focused therapy, trauma therapy, EMDR, sexual abuse recovery, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Filial Therapy.
I have been a therapist since 2003 with a varied approach, including psychodynamic, narrative, emotion-focused, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed counseling.
Your journey matters. You have value. That which holds you in a stuck or painful place does not have to stay that way. There is hope. I will walk on the journey toward wholeness with you, and guide you toward freedom, hope, and meaningful life.
