About Me
Natasha is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. She works with adolescents and adults who are experiencing a variety of stressors; she specializes in working with individuals who are experiencing the psychological and physical effects of trauma. She has worked with clients addressing challenges including but not limited to interpersonal issues related to self-esteem, stress management, life transitions, childhood sexual abuse, trauma, rape, addiction, grief, marital distress, and career changes. She enjoys collaborating with her clients to help them maximize their potentials while employing a variety of therapeutic interventions and techniques with the belief that each client is an individual and therapy should be tailored to their unique and individual selves. Natasha believes that people are resilient, and with the right support, they can overcome the adversity of life.
Natasha began her professional career at Emory University, School of Medicine, Department of Neurology administering Neuropsychological evaluations on individuals previously diagnosed with a neurological disorder or memory impairment. She assisted in developing a unique program designed to treat individuals that have been diagnosed with Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures. She has worked with individuals that were sexually abused and/or domestically abused. She continues to work with the traumatized population, as well as adults with severe and persistent mental illness and substance abuse issues.
Natasha earned her Master of Arts from Liberty University in 2013. After completing her degree, she went on to earn her certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) through the International Association for Trauma Professionals. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) through National Board for Certified Counselors and she earned certification as a Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC) to continue to meet the needs of the population she collaborates with.
Natasha is a member of the International Association for Trauma Professionals, American Association for Christian Counselors, Georgia Association for Christian Counselors, and Licensed Professional Counselors of Georgia.
