About Me
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, working with couples, families, parenting, and individuals in Vancouver, Washington. I work collaboratively with clients to find their strengths and point out how to use those strengths to find solutions. I like to bring humor into the therapy room and believe that one of the most important factors in therapy is the relationship between therapist and clients.
I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches that can be tailored to clients’ needs, but I often lean towards Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches.
I obtained a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Lewis and Clark college. Before beginning my practice, I worked at a mental health agency in Vancouver, WA, assisting families with an array of mental health concerns.
When I am not helping others, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exploring new hiking trails/waterfalls, the great food that our area has to offer, and watching sports. In the rainy season I can often be found trying new recipes, working on pottery, or cuddled up with my dog and good mystery novel.
