Rebecca Morgan

I am an LPC, CCMHC/NCC, Professional School Counselor in the state of GA and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Tuskegee University and a Master’s Degree in Community and School Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne University.

I am very passionate about clients and find it to be an honor to be involved in their life to aid them through a healing process. I do this by focusing on three key areas: Body, Mind, and Soul. I have provided clinical services for the past eight years to children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples in both an individual and group format in every setting you can possibly think of. I am culturally diverse and sensitive the differences amongst cultures. I possess expertise in treating various mood, behavioral, and psychotic disorders, in addition to helping families who have experienced trauma and the effects of domestic violence, various forms of abuse and neglect.

I use an integrative approach to psychotherapy. I believe that there is not a single approach that can account for the diversity that exist amongst human beings. Hence, being able to pull from various theoretical frameworks (psychospiritual/transpersonal, person centered, psychodynamic, family systems, and reality-based theory etc.) and techniques (TF-CBT, DBT skills training, Motivational Interviewing, Yoga and Meditation, etc.) to aid clients through their healing process enriches my practice. I have worked in several settings including: psychiatric residential care for children and adolescents, community agencies, public schools, and now in private practice.
