Greetings! I’m Russ Silverberg. Professionally, I suppose I’m actually Russ Silverberg, DBH, MSC, NCC, LPC, LMHC. But ‘Dr. Russ’ is easier, right?

Translating all those initials into English:
• Doctor of Behavioral Health
• Master of Science in Counseling
• National Board-Certified Counselor
• Licensed Professional Counselor – Arizona
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor – Washington

Working in a community health center for several years, I saw that patients with chronic physical illnesses were required to have Evidence-Based assessments and treatments.

Mental health practitioners may base treatment in psychological theory. To me, this is unacceptable!

Anxiety and Depression are chronic medical conditions involving the brain! Treatments should come from scientific evidence, not untested theory!

We will use validated assessments regularly and you will measure your progress. I have no desire to waste our time on ideas you know do not help.
