Ruth Helpert-Nunez

I am 63 years young. I have worked as a clinical social worker/psychotherapist in the Brazos Valley since 1988. I have a good "grapevine" of local professionals, so I often help clients with information/referral to resources for on-going support beyond therapy. Please check out my Facebook page. I accept new clients as I have time slots available. I offer some evening appointments as well as daytime appointments, but no weekends.

I am a secular therapist. I recognize the importance of self-care and clear boundaries. I frequently work with clients on these major issues. I have a contract with Child Protective Services; through this I have developed expertise in working with trauma, separation and loss, attachment issues, and parenting skills.
