About Me
Shawn Trueman, M.A., LPCC, NCC
I am a Board Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC.0015911) as well as a former pastor with over 20 years of ministry and counseling experience. I received a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Denver Seminary in 2017.
My approach to counseling is from an integrative perspective which uses both Cognitive Behavior therapies and Biblical Counseling. I say that I work from a strengths-based/fall-informed point of view.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, often outdoors hiking, skiing, or hunting. I am also a runner and completed my first marathon in 2015. I was raised in Montana, but spent enough time in West Virginia to think of it as home as well. I have called Colorado home since 2008.
