About Me
Siobhan Badeaux is a licensed marriage and family therapist who works with individuals, families and couples. She achieved her masters degree at Southern Connecticut State University after doing her internship with Newington Middle School, UCONN Nurturing Families Program and UCONN Child and Adolescent Outpatient Clinic.
Siobhan began practicing therapy at Wheeler Clinic with children, adolescents and their families. She worked several years at St. Vincent’s Intensive Outpatient Programs. She is skilled with working in group dynamics due to the intensive Gestalt therapy training. She utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for those clients who want , her framework is usually Solution Focused and she draws from Structural and Strategic therapy modalities for family and couples work. Siobhan is a counselor at a middle school in Bridgeport in addition to working at Collaborative Counseling Group. Siobhan loves her family, she has a passion for art and architecture, her dogs and being outdoors.
Siobhan is in a network with Anthem and Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans, Aetna, and Medicaid (all Husky plans.) Siobhan works with clients to submit for out of network benefits as well when possible.
