Terryann Sanders

Terryann’s interest in eating disorders began early in graduate school and continued after interning at a private practice specializing in psychological assessments for bariatric surgery. In 2006 she completed the JFKU Eating Disorder Certificate Program, and in 2018 she became certified as an iadep Eating Disorder Specialist and Approved Supervisor. In 2019 Terryann relocated from the Bay Area to Roseville, CA where she cofounded the Eating Disorder Collaborative, a group of independent eating disorder specialists who provide evidence-based treatment for people and families suffering from eating disorders.

Over the past 15 years Terryann supervised interns in her private practice and provided supervision for interns working in elementary and middle schools. She has been an active participant in the eating disorder community attending local events, and occassionally speaking on topics related to eating disorders and body image disturbance. She developed peer and supervison consulation groups, and continues to make ongoing collaboration and consultation with her colleagues a priority in her work. Terryann is a Past-President (2011) of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and a current member of the Academy of Eating Disorders (AED), the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA),The International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and the Sacramento Valley Chapter of CAMFT.
