About Me
Tom Grabill is a limited licensed marriage and family therapist (LLMFT) and an ordained pastor (MDiv). Tom received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Hope College, his MDiv from Western Theological Seminary and a master’s degree in Counselor Education: Marriage & Family Therapy from Western Michigan University. Tom specializes in individual, marital, and family therapy. He strongly believes in the importance of creating a counseling space that is both authentic and safe. This counseling environment allows clients to open up to be able to work through things that are keeping them stuck , both currently and in the past, and helping them experience more out of life. Tom is passionate about marriage counseling as a way to help couples work through past hurts and issues in order to reach the ultimate goal of a healthy and vibrant marriage. He uses Family Systems Theory to help couples find workable solutions for relational challenges. Tom is a facilitator and trainer for Prepare/Enrich, a premarital and marriage assessment tool that has been effective for over 35 years. Tom and his wife Michelle are from and currently reside in the West Michigan area.
