Stepping out of your comfort zone can be a difficult experience. In order to grow we must take that leap. My role is to join individuals taking those risks and create a safe place to explore the possibilities. My approach can help people develop new insights into themselves by healing trauma and recognizing their inherent strengths. Using their own strengths people grow confidence to be their true self.

I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado where my passion for working in mental health began. While in my undergraduate program, I worked at the Boulder Juvenile Assessment Center. Through this experience I realized that I wanted to continue with my education in order to further help people. I went on to receive my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver where I continued my work with adolescents in a variety of settings, including residential treatment facilities, day treatment centers and schools. I am passionate about healing trauma with the power of human connection while also utilizing evidence-based approaches, such as, EMDR, CBT, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Functional Family Therapy. When I'm not at work, I am spending time outdoors snowboarding, mountain biking or backpacking.
