About Me
The current state is one of increased stress, uncertainty, and anxiety. It's easy to feel overwhelmed and lonely in the midst of this. Please feel free to reach out, whether you are looking for temporary support via telehealth or are looking for more long-term services where we can transition to sessions in person at a later date.
I view psychotherapy as an opportunity to develop more adaptive strategies for overwhelming or distressing feelings, in a setting you can feel accepted and understood. At the core of my approach is a belief in the strength, goodness, and capability of all individuals. My goal is to help you and your family better understand challenges you (or your children) are experiencing, and together, move toward achieving your goals. I will greet you with warmth, compassion, and an openness to help address the concerns that you bring to treatment.
As a licensed psychologist in Connecticut and New York, I have worked with culturally diverse individuals and families from infancy through adulthood providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment in home, school and clinical settings.
In addition to psychotherapy for children and adults, I offer parental guidance as well as specialized treatment for young children, children and adolescents with various social, emotional and behavioral challenges including autism, sensory processing differences, and other developmental disorders.
